Strategies to Drive Winter Sales
As colder weather sets in, you might find a decrease in your workload and income. But, this does not have to be the case. In this video, Brandon Lewis explains some strategies for driving sales during the winter months.
Understand the Trends
Money is still being spent during winter. Around 5% of estimates/proposals come in December, 4.7% come in January and 4.8% come in February. This means there are still jobs to be done. Take advantage of your estimates and make the most of the work coming in.
Contact Past Customers
Reach out to your network of past customers. Have new conversations and determine if anyone needs more work done. These are great leads because you have already established a relationship and built credibility with them.
Build New Relationships
Find new ways to get the word out about your business. If you have extra time in the office, build a newsletter to send out with information about your company. Generate word of mouth referrals by building partnerships with other organizations or taking on new work that will lead to future projects.
