Award Winner: Ryan Amato Painting, LLC

Description:
Ryan Amato Painting completely renovated the interior of Paxinosa Elementary School in Easton, Pennsylvania. The building was constructed in 1924 and had not been painted or remodeled since 1979 and was in need of extensive surface preparation, primers, and paint. The client was one that Ryan Amato Painting works with frequently and their strong relationship and high quality work history allowed them to secure the bid against the competition. Although there was an established relationship, Ryan Amato Painting treats each project as if it is their first and strive to display commitment and accountability with their work. The project had a very strict timeline as the school was set to open at the start of the fall semester. All surfaces were carefully washed and areas such as frames and doors were scuffed in order to create a quality grip for proper application. Stain killing primer was also applied to walls during surface preparation. Standards P1 and P2 were of extreme importance to ensure a long lasting, high quality finished product. The project was completed on time and on budget. The end result was a reflection of an innovative, invigorating environment where the school’s roughly 700 students could receive their education. Congratulations to Ryan Amato Painting, your work has earned you the 2018 PCA PIPP Award for Commercial Interior.
