Award Winner: Palette Pro Painting & Renovation Inc.

Description:
Painting Hope was created with the mission to enrich lives of families affected by breast cancer. During the month of October, Palette Pro selects a family or a non-profit organization in need of a home/office makeover, but are lacking the resources. The Painting Hope recipient was HACSO Community Center. HACSO is a non-profit community organization established in 1974 to create a community where immigrants can achieve self-sufficiency, ultimately enabling them to become active contributors to the economic, cultural, and social development of their community. As part of the Painting Hope Project, Palette Pro Painting & Renovation donated its services to completely repair & repaint a total of 10+ rooms during a period of 2 days. Their local paint supplier, Wallauer Paint Store, also pitched in with all the paint and supplies which brought the cost of this project close to $10,000. The building and offices at HACSO had not been touched for at least 15 years, and the conditions of the substrate were very poor and in desperate need of an face lift. The first step was to select a color that would leave a wow factor while accentuating the newly design HACSO logo. Palette Pro brought in their color specialist to select the right color and also partnered with a Sign Company to surprised them with a new logo for their reception area. Congratulations to Palette Pro Painting and Renovation, your work has earned you the 2018 PCA PIPP Award for Community Improvement.
